GIRLS’ LACROSSE Grades 5-8 & 9-12
Join the Truckee Girls’ Lacrosse team with Coach Elizabeth Bell!
Learn the basics and have fun! Bring cleats, a mouthpiece and
lacrosse stick (if you have one). Equipment available for loan if
necessary.

BOYS’ LACROSSE Ages 8-19
Former player Paul Cowie and coaching staff introduce the sport of
Lacrosse for boys. Learn the basics of the game-remember to bring
your own mouthpiece, personal protective gear (cup) and lacrosse
stick, if you own one. Some equipment available to loan or buy.

GOLF FOR KIDS AGES 6-10 &
AGES 11-15
Kids learn the basics of the sport in our popular clinics. Ages 6-10
meet at the Regional Park for the first 2 classes, then check out
the Northstar driving range. Older golfers meet at Northstar all 3
dates, ending with a two hour session on the course. Bring your own
clubs! Limit 1 session/child.

PEE WEE TENNIS LESSONS
AGES 4-6
Bring your
racquet and come join these tennis lessons for kids in Regional
Park. Hillary Glendinning will teach you basic tennis skills. Sign
up for a session or drop-in when you are in town (please sign-up and
pay for your drop-in thru the TDRPD office prior to class).

FLY FISHING FOR KIDS
THE CLIFF
FRAZIER MEMORIAL
You’re never too young to learn the sport of fly fishing! This two
day class, put on by the Tahoe Truckee Fly Fishers, offers the
basics of fly fishing for boys and girls, age 11 to 15 years old.
Saturday will be spent indoors introducing students to equipment
requirements, knot tying, how to set up a balanced system and the
philosophy of Fly Fishing. Sunday will be spent out on the water,
learning wading safety, stream entomology, how to read the water,
fly casting, etc. The location for Sunday will be announced during
Saturday’s class. Registration is limited, sign up early. Bring your
lunch and a dry set of clothes, in case you get wet on Sunday!
We encourage a parent to join us
either/both days to observe their child learn the basic skills
necessary to become a Fly Fisher.

JR TRIATHLON AGES 7-17
We’ve moved to September so more people can try out the sport of
Triathlon in this clinic designed just for young athletes. This
individual sport challenges your mind and body in three different
disciplines: swimming, biking and running. Boys will compete
against boys and girls against girls within the different age
groups. Distances will increase with age. Pick up some tips on how
to get started with your training, plus participate in a real event
geared for kids in your age group. Bring your bike, helmet and other
safety gear, swim suit and running gear.
