Bill Rose Park
Location: Bill Rose Park Located Behind Tahoe Forest Hospital, in the Gateway Residential Area, the entrance is on Tahoe Drive.
Facilities: Playground, Sandbox, Picnic Tables, and a small BBQ.
Donner Lake Boat Ramp
Location: 15511 Donner Pass Rd, Truckee CA 96161-3644
Facilities: 2 Lane Boat Ramp, Floating Docks, Fish Cleaning Station, Restrooms, Car and Boat Trailer Parking.
Information: The Donner Lake Boat Ramp is located on the northwest corner of the lake. Season launching passes are sold at the District Office starting May 6. Up to 3 boats registered in the same name may use the same pass. Bring Vessel Registration certificates for all boats.
Launch Fees:CA residents $10.00 - Out of State $15.00 - Parking only $3.00
Season Launch Passes: Boats Registered in California $70.00 - Boats Registered Out of State $120.00
Donner Lake Public Piers
Location: North side of Donner Lake.
Facilities: 37 Public Piers.
Equestiran Arena
Location: Next to Regional Park off of the old Hwy 267
Facilities:This 280 ft. by 150 ft arena seats up to 5,000
- Consession stands available
- Parking and dry parking for trailers, no full hookups
- In town historic truckee location
- Easy access off of hwy 80
- Bucking chutes and pipe corrals
- Fenced grounds
- Restaurants and lodging close by
Floriston Park
Location: Town of Floriston, Ca.
Facilities: Tiny Tots Playground and A Grassy Play Field.
Glenshire Field
Location: 10990 Dorchester Drive
Facilities: This six acre park is adjacent to Glenshire Elementary School on Dorchester Drive. Amenities include one youth baseball/softball field and open turf for soccer fields.
Meadow Park
Location: Donner Trail Subdivision on Donner Trails Road.
Facilities: Two Small Ball Fields, Grass Area, Picnic Area, Restrooms, and Playground.
Shoreline Park
SHORELINE PARK & ALL ACCESS FISHING PIERLocation: Located midway on the north shore of Donner Lake
Facilities: This park features bank fishing, picnic tables, and hand launching of small craft and windsurfers. The All Access Fishing Pier was completed with grant monies from the Wildlife Conservation Board. It was designed to provide lake access for persons with any level of physical disability. Please park in designated areas.
Veterans Hall
Location: 10214 High Street. Eastbound I-80, take Central Truckee exit. At the stop sign, get into the left hand turn lane on Donner Pass Road and turn left on High Street. If you miss the turn lane, go around the new roundabout and turn right onto High Street. The Hall is at the very top of the hill on your left. This is the only access we recommend during winter driving conditions.
Facilities: Indoor Basketball Court, Kitchen, Classrooms/ Meeting Rooms, Restrooms with showers, and Dorm Rooms.
