Peter Werbel- Vice Chairman

Peter Werbel has been serving on the Board of Directors since 1996.  Peter wishes to be a voice for the community and to lead the Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District with passion, dedication, and enthusiasm, in a direction that will fill the recreation and sports needs of the community. 

 Peter coached the first Truckee High School soccer team, as well as their cross-country ski team.  He has a great love for our environment, the outdoors, and a passion for sports and recreation.  He enjoys cross-country skiing, running races, and triathlons. Peter is also married with one Daughter. 

Marshal Lewis- Secretary

Marshall Lewis has been serving on the Board of Directors since February 2003.  He has 35 years of experience in recreation, and is hoping to prepare our district for the challenges of serving a population double in size of our current population. Marshall believes that quality recreation is an essential part of healthy living.  He wants Truckee Donner Recreation and Park District to be second to none in giving our citizens the opportunity to enjoy quality recreation.

 Marshall enjoys camping, mountaineering, and cycling.  He is married with two daughters.

Janet Brady- Director

 Janet Fletcher Brady has been serving on the Board of Directors since December 1997. She is passionate about creating a healthy environment for our community with strong recreational resources that will lead to exceptional recreational opportunities. As an Exercise Physiologist, she finds her position as a Board Member to be an exciting and dynamic position. She is very excited about the development of our new Community Center, and is looking forward to working with the community to develop a center that will fulfill our needs and dreams.

 Janet is a proud mother of two awesome boys and is the Director of Health Promotions & Marketing at Tahoe Forest Hospital.
