Donner Lake Facilities There are 31 public piers along the Northern shoreline, a public beach facility and a public boat ramp. West End Beach Location: West End of Donner Lake on Southshore Drive Size:Approx. 10 acres with 1 1/2 miles of shoreline Facilities: 6 Group Picnic sites with BBQs, family picnic
areas, basketball court, tennis court, sand and grass volleyball, two playgrounds, horseshoe pits, kayak and paddleboat rentals, swimming area with certified lifeguards, boat parking, fishing area and a covered pavilion
available for weddings and private parties. Group reservations are taken at the District office. Two weeks advanced notice required. An admission fee is charged.

Children under 2 are free
Season Passes are available at the District Office
and are good all season excepting July 4th when the facility is used by the Chamber of Commerce for the community celebration.

Non Resident seniors pay nonresident adult price. Proof of residency may be required. Relatives of residents are not considered residents for the purpose of purchasing passes.
Boat Ramp and Public Piers The Donner Lake boat ramp is located on the Northwest corner of the lake, 31 public piers dot the north shoreline for fishing, boating or relaxing. The District is currently in the process of replacing piers damaged by winter weather in 1997. Please look for signs indicating whether each pier is public or private. Season launch passes are available at the District office or you may purchase day passes at the ramp. A Vessel registration certificate for the current year is required to purchase a Season pass. Up to three boats registered to the same owner per pass.
