COMMUNITY WATER SAFETY

 

Recommended for anyone who spends time in or by the water.  Whether in a pool, boat, or on a beach, this class will give you the basic knowledge that you need to work or live by the water.  Great for home pool owners, or anyone wants to know how to stay safe by the water.

CPR+ AED for Adult, Child, & Infant  w/First Aid

This is a great class for anyone working with children, sports teams, or elderly, as well as those just wanting to expand their knowledge and be prepared in an emergency.  Learn the new standards set by Red Cross and American Heart Association.

 

SESSION 1                  Thursdays, June 4 & 6

CPR + AED REFRESHER

CPR certifications must be renewed annually.  This refresher class will familiarize you with the new standards set by ARC and AHA.  A current CPR card must be provided upon registration. 

 

SESSION 1:                 Wednesday, May 28th 5-9 pm

SESSION 2:                 FRIDAY, June 13th from 5-9 pm

CPR:  PRO RESCUER REFRESHER

 

CPR certification must be renewed every year.  All lifeguards must take this recertification class. Participants must still have current CPR for PR certification. Possible July class, call to be put on interest list.

WATERFRONT Lifeguard

Training & o2 aDMINISTRATION

This is a required class for anyone wanting to become a lifeguard.  It includes Lifeguard Training, Basic First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer w/AED.  Students must show proof of age (15+), be able to swim 500 yards continuously, shallow dive, surface dive and tread water-please be ready to swim every day. 

SESSION 1:           April 14-18, 9am-5 pm daily

 

SESSION 2:        May 2-31, all Fridays 5-9 pm,

And All Saturdays 9am—1 pm

FEES: $175 includes materials

 

TITLE 22 (Emergency Responder)

 

This class is required by the State of California for all lifeguards working at public facilities.  Title 22 is a great stepping stone for anyone interested in getting their Emergency Medical Technician, or for anyone interested in learning what to do in an emergency situation.  Must have current CPR for the Professional

Rescuer certification.
