The Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District is a public service agency created by the people through the use of government structure for the purpose of providing recreation opportunities, educating for the proper use of  leisure time and conserving the recreational resources of the area. The objective of the Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District is to provide recreation opportunities for all citizens, with an emphasis on family and youth oriented programs and facilities.
